So this month U2 returned to Australia at last...
But it wasn't untill listening to the Sydney recording that I realized that since it's been almost 10 years, the good people of Oz have never even experienced live versions of Elevation and Beautiful Day before...
Goosebumps all over.......have a great time folks!

Bono & Pearl Jam
So U2 shows up at a Pearl Jam show and Bono sings Rocking in a free world with them.
I envy the Pearl Jam fans, who get to buy them bootlegs from the Pearl Jam site the same week....

As you can see in the post underneath I was standing really close at the fence of the b-stage on Edge's side on july 16th (Amsterdam).
Next to us stood Richard Broekhuizen with his camera, and he agreed on putting his great pictures on this site!

U2 Amsterdam Arena 13/07/05
What a show! Last night U2 played a thrilling show in the Amsterdam Arena, filled to capacity (50.000).
Many references to their relationship with the Netherlands and Amsterdam, a dication to murdered filmmaker Theo van Gogh and snippets of Rader Love by Dutch band Golden Earring in the song Vertigo.
